In July 2019, I organized an international conference on Media Archaeological Research and Artistic Practice at Stockholm University. In conjunction with the conference, Stockholm’s artist-ran experimental music and art center, Fylkingen, hosted an evening of film and video-art screenings, sound installation, and experimental electronics contect.
In February-March 2019, cinemateket Stockholm (the Stockholm Cinematheque) presented the “Images from Israel” program I co-curated with Israeli film scholar and critic Pablo Utin.
While at Oberlin College, I programmed a series of silent film screenings with live experimental musical accompaniment performed by an ensemble of extraordinary musicians from the Oberlin Conservatory.

Also at Oberlin, I arranged a special screening of the documentary Errol Morris: A Lightning Sketch with the director Charles Musser.
At the university of Chicago, I co-organized a three-day event about the documentary A Film Unfinished, with included a special screening, a workshop with director Yael Hersonski, and a symposium.
In 2006-2007 I co-curated musical events with John Zorn and Uri Caine, as part of the University of Chicago’s Presidential Fellows in the Arts Series.
